ras al khaimah

The most northerly emirate on the UAE’s stretch of Gulf coast and under an hour’s drive from Dubai, it’s easy to combine this idyllic destination with the glamour of Dubai for the opportunity to experience a real taste of Arabia – both old and new.

With over 7,000 years of fascinating history and culture, Ras Al presents an authentic Arabian desert experience. Here, traditional Arabic cultures, dazzling night skies, fascinating wildlife and a slow pace of living awaits.

Fringed by the majestic Al Hajar Mountains and bordering the Sultanate of Oman, Ras Al Khaimah’s magnificent landscape is filled with vast swaths of sandy desert, sweeping sand dunes and a long coastline dotted with tranquil lagoons and golden beaches.

Like the other emirates, Ras Al Khaimah boasts many excellent shopping malls and restaurants and, as it is still relatively undiscovered, you’ll find it less crowded than its more popular counterparts and therefore offers an entirely unique experience from its neighbouring emirates.
